The City of Fort Lauderdale is the largest municipality in Broward County. It is renowned as a paradise with its subtropical climate and beaches. With more than 300 miles of waterfront from its beaches, rivers and canals, the city attracts a diverse range of people to live, work, and play.  It is home to an estimated population of 183,146. In August 2015, Florida’s seasonally adjusted unemployment rate was 5.3%, making August 2015 the 61st consecutive month with positive annual job growth after the state lost jobs for over three (3) years.

Fort Lauderdale is located less than an hour from Miami and Palm Beach International Airports, and offers access to international markets including Europe, Latin America, the Caribbean, Africa and the Pacific Rim.
