Notice of early closings:
- DSD will close at 1pm on Friday, June 7th for our annual Health and Wellness Day event.
- DSD will close at 3pm on Monday, July 1st, Monday, August 5th, and Monday, September 2nd for our Historic Preservation Board meeting.
The Development Services Department (DSD) encourages and coordinates sustainable growth of the City and promotes well-designed development through sound planning principles that focus on livability, urban revitalization, growth management, and historic preservation. To improve the overall welfare and appearance of the community, the department also conducts code enforcement, encouraging voluntary compliance and prompt corrections.
DSD also issues building permits and conducts inspections to ensure safe and quality construction that is consistent with the Florida Building Code and municipal ordinances. View current DSD Fee Schedules.
