Hendricks Isle Drive Asphalt Improvement Project

Post Date:March 20, 2024 4:30 PM

Please note the schedule for this project has been updated to reflect that construction is expected to take place Tuesday, March 26 through Friday, March 29. The contractor is currently securing materials in preparation for the start of construction.

The City of Fort Lauderdale is working with All County Paving to resurface the road and apply new pavement markings along Hendricks Isle Drive in the Hendricks and Venice Isles neighborhood.

Construction will begin on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, and is expected to be completed by Friday, March 29, 2024. Work will take place Tuesday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. This schedule is subject to change based on inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances.

Traffic Impacts
  • Neighbors are asked to refrain from parking along Hendricks Isle Drive daily between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.
  • One lane in each direction of Hendricks Isle Drive will be closed daily during work hours. Traffic control personnel will direct traffic as needed.
  • Access to driveways will be maintained unless work is taking place in the immediate area across from the driveway. Crews will attempt to coordinate with neighbors prior to the start of asphalt operations.
  • Please follow posted signs and drive with caution in the area.

We apologize in advance for any inconvenience and thank our neighbors for their patience during construction.
