Effective January 1, 2024, the Development Services Department (DSD) will no longer accept paper permit applications or plans for new submissions. All new submissions must now be submitted digitally via the LauderBuild Plan Room (LPR).

The Building Services division is responsible for all permitting efforts in the City. Building Services provides records, issues permits, and performs building inspections. A major focus of the division is to ensure that commercial and residential buildings and structures comply with the Florida Building Code (FBC) and all other applicable laws and ordinances.
