The OpenGov Financial Transparency Portal

Through the City of Fort Lauderdale’s Financial Transparency Portal, users can view the current fiscal year budget as well as historical financial information from previous fiscal years. The portal allows users to interact with the data and either drill down to view financial data at the program level or scale up to view the full operating budget. Users can also utilize the Balancing Act application to make suggestions to the City's general fund budget and submit their recommendations for review by City staff and the Budget Advisory Board.

  • The OpenGov portal allows users to explore the City’s current budget and historical financials for City departments and services.
  • Neighbors can segment the City’s budget and learn more about City departments like the Police Department, Fire Rescue Department, Parks and Recreation Department, and others.
  • Users can download the financial data as an Excel file for further study and for research purposes.

Financial Data and Reports

In an effort to provide the community with access to the City’s financial data, the City also produces and distributes the budget electronically via the City of Fort Lauderdale’s website. Online, you can find copies of the current and historic Annual Budgets, Quarterly Projection Reports, Community Investment Plans (CIP), along with the current Revenue Manual. For Annual Comprehensive Financial Reports (ACFR) and Popular Annual Financial Report (PAFR), please visit the Finance Department.
