Residential Streetlight Installation Policy

PURPOSE

  • To provide standards and procedures for requests to install energy efficient illumination throughout the limits of the City of Fort Lauderdale to aid in the safe and orderly movement of traffic and pedestrians.

REQUEST PRIORITY

  1. Traffic Hazards
  2. Dangerous Intersections
  3. Dead-end streets
  4. Mid-block locations
  5. Date of request

APPROVAL

Requests are reviewed and approved by the Parks and Recreation Department.
