 5790 Neighborhood Recognition Program

Fort Lauderdale’s Neighborhood Recognition Program provides an opportunity to build strong communities by bringing residents, public servants, and elected officials together to communicate and collaborate to improve our City.

The Neighborhood Recognition Program encourages neighborhood associations to file for recognition status with the City of Fort Lauderdale. This free registration program creates a comprehensive listing of recognized neighborhood associations and their contact information so residents can engage and become active participants in their communities, as well as receive important updates from the City.

Purpose

The purpose of the Neighborhood Recognition Program is to strengthen the voice of neighborhood associations and to mobilize engagement through productive communication with the City.
