To become a City of Fort Lauderdale recognized neighborhood, please complete the application below and submit it by March 1st each calendar year. Please contact the Office of Neighbor Support at 954-828-4012 or email neighborsupport@fortlauderdale.gov if you have any questions.

Fort Lauderdale’s Neighborhood Recognition Program provides an opportunity to build strong communities by bringing residents, public servants, and elected officials together to communicate and collaborate to improve our City.

The City encourages associations to file for recognition status by completing the application below. Recognition is good for one year. Associations must reapply by March 1st each year to retain their recognition status.
