Broward B-Cycle, currently operating as AvMed Rides, was created through an agreement between Broward County, the Florida Department of Transportation, and B-Cycle as a means of reducing traffic congestion.  Bike sharing is an inexpensive mobility option that complements the use of public transportation, walking, and ridesharing and offers a sustainable alternative to single-occupant vehicle use. The City of Fort Lauderdale currently authorizes 16 stations within the city limits.

To use B-Cycle/AvMed Rides, simply locate one of 24 stations within the County and follow the kiosk prompts to select your bike. Once you're finished with your ride, return your bike to any available B-Cycle/AvMed Rides dock. Be sure to follow all traffic laws and wear a helmet!
