Connecting the Blocks
The Connecting the Blocks plan was created to provide a detailed and prioritized list of needed pedestrian, bicycle, and transit infrastructure improvements accompanied by planning-level cost estimates. Ultimately, the plan identified 126 multimodal projects. Of these projects, 115 are targeted for a varying degree of pedestrian and bicycle improvements with the remainder being citywide projects. If all were implemented, these improvements would improve 609 miles of roadway within the city.
