The Plan

The 17th Street Corridor Mobility Study was adopted by the Fort Lauderdale City Commission on June 20, 2017 by Resolution 17-125. This action also created the 17th Street Mobility Working Group, which was one of 82 short- mid- and long-term recommendations made by the study. The Study, and its accompanying technical memorandums, can be found below. Additionally, an Origin-Destination Study was performed to understand how SE 17th Street is impacted by regional travel. This study can also be found below.

Working Group Meetings

The 17th Street Corridor Mobility Study was created as the result of a 2015 Commission Annual Action Priority (CAAP) with the objective of improving mobility along the S.E. 17th Street Corridor between US1 and the Intracoastal Waterway, as well as US1 immediately to the north and south. The plan was kicked off in July 2015 and was guided by public input through feedback received at three workshops, as well as through an online project website and four meetings of a Project Advisory Working Group (PAWG).

Information for each meeting, including agendas, presentation materials, and summaries, are posted below. Please note that summaries are not intended to be construed as formal meeting minutes.
