The HOME Investment Partnerships Program (HOME) is a type of United States federal assistance provided by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Department (HUD) to municipalities in order to provide decent and affordable housing, particular housing for low- and very low-income persons.
Assistance to eligible homeowners throughout the City to bring the homes up to standard condition, eliminate code violations and provide save and affordable housing. Rehabilitation assistance will be provided in the form of 0% interest deferred loans.
This program assists eligible first-time home buyers with a deferred payment loan to be applied towards down payment, closing cost and/or principal reduction for the purchase of eligible housing within the City limits, including single family homes, townhouses, condominiums or villas.
