Reasonable Accommodation Process

All Community Residences,  as defined in the Unified Land Development Regulations (ULDR), must comply with the regulations of the ULDR, including but not limited to registration, occupancy and locations requirements.  Pursuant to the Federal Fair Housing Act,  a person with a disability that is adversely impacted by these regulations may seek a reasonable accommodation, that is a change, exception, or adjustment to the ULDR, necessary to afford persons with disabilities equal opportunity to housing. The City will appoint a special magistrate to hear and act on requests for reasonable accommodation.
