Online Walk-Thrus 

The Development Services Department (DSD) is now offering online walk-thru services. Neighbors may apply for a walk-thru permit electronically, from the comfort of your home or office. It's a quick and easy process.

Walk-Thrus are processed from 8:00 am to 9:30 am, Monday - Friday. NOTE: You may create a Walk-Thru application at any time on LauderBuild, however THE APPLICATION WILL ONLY BE PROCESSED THE NEXT BUSINESS DAY BETWEEN 8-9:30 am, M - F.


  1. Log in to your LauderBuild account. First time users must Register for an Account.
  2. Select and complete the application from the Walk-Thru Permits options and upload any necessary attachments to the LauderBuild Plan Room (LPR) Review Package.
  3. Please refer to the email notifications for status and updates..

Once the application has been processed and reviewed and your initial permit fees have been paid, your permit card will be available to download from your LauderBuild account.

 

Submission Requirements

  • Check the Approved Walk-Thru Permit list to ensure that you're applying for an approved walk-thru permit type
  • You must have a LauderBuild account - click to Register for an Account if you don't have one
  • Desktop computer (application and document submission is not supported on mobile devices)
  • Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge browser (please ensure all pop-up blockers are turned off)
  • Any required documents must be available in a PDF format to upload for review
Approved Walk-Thru Permit Record Types

 

 

Effective January 1, 2024, the Development Services Department (DSD) will no longer accept paper permit applications or plans for new submissions. All new submissions must now be submitted digitally via the LauderBuild Plan Room (LPR).

In-Office Appointments 

DSD also offers our Neighbors the ability to schedule in-house appointments for certain services. This allows you to make, change or cancel an appointment conveniently online.

Building Services offers daily appointments for the following:

  1. Permit Assistance
  2. Permitting Pickups

Walk-ins are still welcomed, but will be seen on a first come, first served basis.
